Literacy has many layers, reading is only one of those layers.
An equally important literacy skill is listening comprehension, which is an equally important skill as reading and is an important foundational skill to help your child master in their journey to developing strong literacy skills. Listening comprehension connects directly with your child's ability to express themselves.
What is Listening Comprehension?!
Listening Comprehension is happening on the backend for your child, your child is processing lots of information right now, from how they understand language, tone, the arrangement of how sentences are structured, and in what order words go in speech.
